Perhaps they should change from PAT to EPIC (Educators Proposing Insane Changes). I wonder if they are going to pass out bibs and burp rags to all of the children? They apparently are still being suckled and will probably need to be burped so their learning experience is not hampered by painful gas pains.
EDIT: Decrepit Old Fool was nice enough to point out that somebody in charge hasn’t lost their ever-loving-minds across the pond.

Think teachers a/k/a wardens should revert to blunt honesty, e.g., “OK you effing shit head. You’ll probably never be worth a crap in this lifetime. So get out of my classroom, this school and my life before I firebomb your house. When you make up your mind to apply yourself to your studies you will be considered for reinstatement ….. maybe.”

ARGH! I am SO tired of this molly-coddling attitude that is cropping up in the schools systems.
What is WRONG with rewarding children for their achievements and pushing kids who NEED it to try harder?
Since WHEN is this a BAD THING? If this keeps up we are going to raise a generation of MAMA’S BOYS and PRISSY GIRLS…all of whom won’t be able to handle a damn thing in life!
